my iphone has a white screen, i can’t see anything but i can unlock it and slide it and hear everything so I know the iphone works exceptï»¿ for the screen …is it the lcd that need to be replaced?

On the iPhone Genï»¿ 1 aka iPhone 2G you can NOT replace just the LCD and you can NOT replace just theï»¿ Digitizer. They complete screen must be replaced as one part. For further details on this please goto DirectFix(dot)com and look at the details on Part Number IP-2085
