Order one online called Datel Tool Battery for like $15.If you don’t want to wait; I think it was ZZK2001 on Youtube that shows how to take it apart with a guitar pick. It was with a fat battery, it should be similar for the slim. I made one with a fat bat and it works on my two fats, both at 5.00m33-3 and my slim at 4.01m33-2. It took me a while to do it, but once I did it, it was fairly easy. You have to really jam the pick in the cracks pretty hard to actually break the seal. When I cut the leg, it smoked and sparked a little (from being charged) but worked. Youtube is how I went from knowing nothing to knowing quite a bit in a couple days. Good luck!

the battery needs to be out of juice as in not charged at all
then it will not conduct electricity so it won’t spark
but i recommend not cutting it and instead buying a pandora battery from http://www.pandorasales.com
i got one from here
it works perfectly, it’s not fake, and it ships quickly
they are about $8.00 or about $30.00 if you want a magic memory stick with it

Sony recommends NOT opening the battery. If your psp is bricked it is probably because you messed with the OS and system files.
