Fantastic Case

I have used Elago slim case and the Elago case was so fragile and got broken at the corners very easily.

Sleek, Simple and Superb
After buying my iPhone 3G, I tried almost 10 different cases. EaCh one of those was either too bulky or made the phone look stupid.

This is bar far the best case for the 3G iphone and trust me I have tried many of them. Its sleek and offers a great design that does not take away from the slim, nice low profile while giving the phone a solid grip. It doesn't add any bulk and fits very snug. I am not the only one who loves this case. Check out all the positive reviews on the Black one I bought awhile awhile back SHIELD Apple 3G iPhone Shield Polycarbonate Slim Fit Case + Microfiber Cleaning Cloth - (Black) I came back to Amazon looking for this case to buy one for my brother who just got his iphone and came across this listing. I was pleased to see they now offer these other great color options. I just picked up a few extra colors so I can change the look of my iphone depending on my mood. Fantastic!!!

Firstly I purchased the white version, for use on a white iPhone 3G.

Pros: Does not compromise the size of the iPhone too much, I had gone almost a full year without a case because one of the things I liked about the iPhone was its sleek appearance. Fits on nicely, protects the corners of the phone (where my dropped phones seem to land). Largely stays clean. Soft touch finish. Low cost is low risk.

Cons: With the cutout on I seem to need to use my fingernail to engange silent mode, whereas previously I could use my finger. I personally do not like the logo window especially since after awhile lint and dust seems to collect around the edges of the window.

Bottom Line: If you want a case that's not going to make your iPhone appreciably more cumbersome or garish while offering protection from low height drops or scuffing you cant go wrong here. Plus at a low price point you can afford for this to get beat up and buy a new case every few months.

I wanted a low profile case that didn't appear garish, or make the phone much larger, stumbled on this while casually looking around Amazon and with the cost it was too good to pass up. At first dirt seemed to stick to the white cover, but after handling it for awhile that does not seem to be an issue. Also personally I would prefer to not have the logo hole, but I can imagine those that would still like to sport the apple.
